SUPPORT & HELP
Barnyard Races
Questions or a problem with Barnyard Races?
A parent or caregiver can contact Chris Solomon at cjsolomon@midwestCMD.com. Include the device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, and the steps that caused the problem. Please share only what is needed to explain the issue; avoid children's names, photos, or other personal information.
Racing and controls
How do I steer and run?
Hold LEFT or RIGHT to turn, and release to straighten. Hold Run to move forward. Back slows your animal down or backs it up. The main menu offers an option to swap the steering and run controls.
How many laps are in a race?
Every track is three laps. Your finishing place appears at the end. Choose Next race to stay in the same track category, or Main menu to pick another category or animal.
What do coins and corn do?
Each wheat coin is worth one coin. One sunflower coin per race is worth five. Corn gives your animal a temporary speed boost and can be collected again on the next lap. Coins collected in a race are added to your saved balance when you finish.
How do difficulties work?
Beginner has slower computer racers, Intermediate increases their pace, and Expert has faster rivals and themed slowdown hazards. Expert off-road courses use mud puddles; other courses use roots, leaves, stones, speed bumps, shopping bags, or snowdrifts.
Can I wear several accessories together?
Yes. You can wear one item in each category: headwear, glasses, footwear, neckwear, and cape. Equipping a second item in a category replaces the first. Owned items can be worn on any animal, and each animal remembers its outfit and colors. Red, blue, and pink are included with each accessory purchase. All purchases use earned virtual coins, not real money.
When do advertisements appear?
Results and finishing place are shown first. After you choose Next race or Main menu, the app shows a sponsor break, then one preloaded ad if available. Navigation waits until the ad closes. If no ad is ready, it is skipped. Core gameplay does not require watching an ad to earn a reward.
Do I need an account or internet connection?
No app account or login is required. Racing and locally saved outfits and coin balances can be used offline. Ads and advertising privacy services need an internet connection; an unavailable ad is skipped.
How is progress saved?
Coin balances, owned accessories, outfits, colors, and supported preferences are saved on the current device. The app does not provide its own cloud-sync or account-based restore service. Device backups may include app data. Deleting the app can remove local progress; please contact support before reinstalling if you want help preserving data.
What if the game freezes or sound stops?
Close and reopen the app, check Music and Sounds in the menu, and check the device volume. Make sure you have the latest app and iOS or iPadOS version. If the problem continues, email the steps to reproduce it and your device details.
How can a parent ask a privacy question?
Read the privacy policy below or email support. Advertising privacy choices are available in the app when Google requires them. Apple device settings also offer privacy and backup controls.
